MODx looks fantastic and I really want to get in amongst it.
I have an existing Bitnami provided wampstack on my laptop with wordpress and joomla in the apps file. I set up another wampstack on the same laptop to learn about configuring apache / mysql / php just for modx. The second apache server is configured to listen to port 8080 and is running smoothly.
I placed the complete modx archive in the apache/htdocs folder. Browsing for http://localhost:8080 brings up a ’index of/ modx’ screen. Clicking on the modx link brings up the ’install modx’ screen. Clicking on ’install now’ brings up this message:
’Invalid install action attempted. [action=language]’
Can you please help me get over this hurdle so I can get into really learning about modx?
