How to extract time for user defined date template variable??

Hi everybody,

I a beginer with modx, i need help with the following scenario:

I have a container document with documents inside it. The child documents uses a template, defining a template variable for event date this date store date and time but i need splitted the data and time to show on chunck where i list with ditto.

How it must be done that??

If you’re familiar with strftime, you can do the following in your Ditto-chunk:



If you want to use this outside of Ditto, install the PHx plugin, then you can modify your date-field by [*myDate:date`%H:%M*], once again according to strftime (www.php.net/strftime). See my thread "[SOLVED] Blogging" for more info .

Your hints work fine to me, therefore the PHx and Ditto integration i followed on your post "[SOLVED] Blogging" broke me ditto pagination.

I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand. It broke your pagination? As in: it doesn’t work anymore? Do you have a link where I can see what’s broken?

I mean the directions steps of that guide don’t work for me to avoid ditto pagination crash when i active the PHx pluggin.
