[SOLVED] Blogging

Hi guys,

I’m having a hard time getting my head around some stuff. I’ve installed MODx Evolution on www.digitaaldier.nl. It’s an absolute mess now but that’s ok , I’ve plenty of clients to not worry about what they think of my own site, it’s basically my MODx-playground from now on. I’ve created a chunk that I use as a Ditto template for my Blog. I’ve used the placeholder [+date+], which I reckon applies *some* strftime to [*pub_date*]. Is this a right assumption?
And if so, how do I apply a different strftime to the pub_date, because I want it to just display the day and month... I’ve used a separate Template (called blogEntry) for the pages containing article, but how do I apply these same strftimes to pub_date there? I’m really at a loss here...

To format a date when the [+date+] placeholder has already been assigned, or as an alternative to the &dateSource/&dateFormat/[+date+] routine

Wow, thanks! Those are really helpful! Now I’ve got some weird behavior... Somehow my article thinks it’s been posted on 26th of october... Weird stuf... Rings any bells?
