Hi All.. having dramas with escaped apostrophe’s in snippets & chunks etc.
saw the stickied thread in this forum:

but the page linked to at the bottom of that thread has this big "this has been deprecated.. do not use" sign at the top..
I tried it anyway, adding
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc Off
to my .htaccess file..
but I get a server error

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
strangely.. I have two modx installations on the same subdomain (different mysql databases though) - I did that because I was just putting together a new project, and wanted to stage a new site in a subfolder of another subdomain.. however, the modx installation in the root of the domain does not have this escaped character problem... the installation in a subdirectory does..
So I’m unsure why one installation is having this trouble and the other isnt.. any ideas?
