Im looking for a ’digital assets manager’ 3pc for revo. I’d like to be able to upload:
- files (pdf’s, chm’s, word docs, txt files, etc)
- photos (various sizes of same pict for use in articles/news/blogs with captions)
- videos
- mp3s (I don’t need these but certainly they could be part of an asset manager)
And manage them.
Basic features might include:
* Auto-indexing of uploaded assets in a folder
* Full integration/selection of assets from the ’content editors’
* Title, description, caption, source, metatags, + more fields for each asset
* Create categories/subcategories from folders for assets
* Batch processing of assets (delete, move,rename etc.)
* possibly have indexing configuration live in folders
* Sortable lists/sublists of assets for text display
* Security on each asset as to who can view/edit/alter/use, etc
If anyone is familiar with the Typo3 digital media assets module (DAM), that is a pretty decent and complete.
Is there 3PCs like that available in modx ? I ddin’t see anything in the multimedia or admin ’extra’ categories.
