Can't login with manager upon 1st setup

I’ve just installed MODx and can’t get inside. When typing login and password on the /manager/ page and click "OK" nothing happens. The page doesn’t refresh and, moreover, I can’t edit the entries. I have to refresh the page and enter credentials again.

Maybe I missed something during installation... I tried to search the forum, but didn’t find exactly the same problem.

I am sure that this is a minute to fix, but I am neither a programmer, nor an admin.

Assuming that you saw no error messages during the install, this sounds like a corrupted file. I’d suggest re-downloading/uploading and reinstalling MODx.

Another possibility is not enough memory during the install, especially if you were installing MODx Revolution. Check the memory_limit setting.

Well I can see safe_mode OFF and upload_max_filesize 16 M. But there’s no any memory_limit in this summary.

I guess I need to get down to manuals.

Unfortunately, it shows "MEMORY LIMIT:" and blank page below. What I did is created a new .php file, where inserted this code. Maybe I should have added this to the original php.info code.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t be reporting that, but then it should be on the phpInfo page too.
