I’ve put all the files in the public html space of my domain hosting. Gone to start the install and asks for the:
database host
Log in name
Password
I’ve set up a database using cpanel. Let’s say, for arguments sake, the database is called xyz_modx, the username comes up as xyz_admin and the password is password. How do I enter these into the host, username and password fileds? I’ve tried it using the xyz_ prefix that cpanel gives it, tried it wiithout, given all rights to the admin user of the database buit still nada.
Maybe I’m too dense to use Modx, used to coding in xhtml and CSS so thought that this would save me some time, so far all I’m saving is hairdressing bills as I tear my hair out
