Hi, i have just started porting a small group website over to modx which has been going well and quite quick. I have decided to use basic links for the menu and not wayfinder as there will only ever be 6 pages to the site. I have actually solved the problem but i dont understand why as there is conflicting information in the documentation.
im linking to another modx page:
<li><a href="[~2~]" tabindex="2">NEWS</a></li> #this works fine
but according to this article:
http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/MODx096/Adding+Snippets, i should be able to do it in this manner :
<li><a href="
http://localhost/mytestsite/index.php?id=2">NEWS</a></li> # doesnt work
this does not work for some reason when i’m linking the six pages together- although the first solution produced exactly the same link. Why is this? (its probably obvious i know!)
