Hello, I’m seriously thinking of restructuring our company’s site with a CMS. So far we don’t have one. I wonder if the following could be easily done with MODx:
There is a page that can only be accessed by users that are logged in -- Put this restraint on a page.
In order to access it you fill a form with password and other info. We have a very basic admin interface and all the registrants are manually activated by someone (a manager). Also all that feature of password management, login, logout, etc.
How should I go about that? Do I start by creating a web group thru the manager interface?

You’ll need a web user group and a web resource group and a link between them -- all easy.
Look at the WebLogin and WebSignup snippets.
You can also create the users manually in the Manager and MODx will email them their username and password.
