I just installed MODx Evolution on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS home server. I’m trying to get productive working with the [*content*] TV using default install of TinyMCE, with poor results. Specifically TinyMCE is (1) not picking up text styles from my style sheet; (2) it has no
tag support as far as I can tell and always places a <p> tag when I hit enter; (3) Firefox seems to double-space some of the <p> tags so layout is different in IE8; (4) I’d like to integrate a better html editor with WYSIWIG tools to develop rapidly for Firefox/IE testing, and the html code in TinyMCE is all smooshed together. Any advice on getting productive with this initial effort? Thanks.
