[SOLVED] New installation on a new server

I’ve done a few ModX installs and so far, no problems. I have another server using cPanel and just installed ModX 1.0.1 and it all went fine, but when I go to the system configuration panel it has a ton of errors. I’ll paste them below. The sample site seems to be working fine as well as the editing, etc. So, I’m not sure what to make of it.

Also, I’m very much a designer, not a programmer....

It’s possible that one or more files were corrupted in download and/or upload.

It could also be a character set issue, but that would normally create problems in more places.

I think Bob’s right with regards to corrupt files. I’ve only experience this with 1.0 upgrades on one particular MODx site. Try deleting the manager directory (backing up config) and adding a new manager directory (and replacing config with its backup) - it worked for me.

I did start a new topic on this but thought I would also bring it back up here.

I did try doing what was suggested and the errors are still there. I even used a different download of Modx 1.04 on a different computer thinking that maybe the files were corrupt on one computer and perhaps not on the other. So, I replaced the manager folder and uploaded my old config file and everything seems to be the same.

I have this issue on two sites now. Sites and manager both work fine, but it still bugs me that I see this when I go to the config page.

I apologize. I was wrong. I didn’t delete the full manager directory correctly and when I did and actually replaced it, everything worked fine.
