SMF integration with modX

Hello everyone,

I am very new to modX and making my first baby steps. I have succesfully installed the 1.0.2 version and it looks pretty good. I must say. I totally love the green theme.
The next thing I would like to have is to have a SMF forum like this one here as well. I would like to know which SMF bridge do I have to download to integrate modX 1.0.2 with SMF 1.x, like its done here.

I did a search and found postings around 2006 about SMF integration, how comes there are no more questions issues since 3 years? Am I on the right path? Are there more than one SMF Bridge?

We don’t integrate MODx with SMF here. It’s just a skin that makes it look similar.

What kind of forum software do you use then? or is it very heavy customized? In that case I wont have a chance to get it running anyway
