Page with 2 Unordered Lists

I have a page with 2 Unordered Lists and I was wondering how would I manage them in the back end? right now I just have 2x


between the DIVs in the templates but I would like an easier way to manage them if possible so I dont have to put in the raw code.. is there a way to do this with 2 ULs on a page?

How would I manage each unordered list without having to edit the code directly? Would like to just press enter/return and type for the next <li></li> if possible

Well, with a rich text plugin like TinyMCE you will be able to do what you want

I would be able to edit both of the unordered lists? Is there another way other than the rich text editor? if i designed a website for some1 else with 2 unordered list it wouldnt be good if they had a way to mess up the layout of the site.. so this is why im tryin to find the best solution

Well, i guess it depends on how the content will be added. As said before you can use rich editor features and do a correct CSS styling in order to make your lists look good. You can use ditto (http://ditto.modxcms.com/) and its templates to agregate the content. Wayfinder (http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Wayfinder) can do things like that too.

I’m far from being a modx expert, but i guess each solution have its purpose.

If you explain some more the content added and its purpose i will tell you how i would do it ( which might not be the best solution anyway ^^ )

You may not even need the user to update the list manually if the goal is to create a navigation menu. All you need in that case is Wayfinder, which is one of MODx’s most valuable assets. The list would be automatically updated each time you create a new child document under services.

If however your list is used within the content section, adding a new child is as easy as placing your cursor at the end of the last element and hitting enter. Just like you would do in MS Word. It doesn’t get any easier than that.
