where to put external javascript files?

where would I put all external javascript files for my website
that Im building in Modx ?

You can put them anywhere you want to as long as you have the path correct in your templates. Some people like to put them in the assets/templates/yourTemplate folder (change yourTemplate to the name of your template).

Some people create a folder on the root level of the modx install, outside of the assets folder.

Bottom line is that you can keep your external files anywhere you want to as long as you have the correct path to the file.

Im gonna do that right now.
