This is to Bob Ray and the 100 some odd open source people who read my first post.
On a personal note, Bob Ray sugested my "poetry" was genuine, the real deal and he wished me well as a candidate for president. thank you so much. I much appreciate what you said, especially about my old web site - that it was not all that bad. (My writing talent is a blessing, given to me, so compliments don’t go to my head.)
I am determined to use ModX. I’m not sure why; I simply like the idea, but I am running out of time so I need a hand. I am running out of time because I have to file a Formal Complaint v. the Federal Communications Commission which the FCC will ignore, in violation of statutory law, then I have to attach that Formal Complaint to a separate petition for the Federal District Court v. NBC, CBS, PBS, ABC, and Fox.
Who recollects during the last federal election you did not see one debate on PBS. The FCC unconstitutionaly removed all the 356 PBS stations from their obligations to the access law which guarantees every candidate for federal office (like President) access to mass media to deliver a speech.
I’m the only person in the whole country ever to have delivered an actual speech as a candidate for president on PBS (which is like Open Source - free), in New Hampshire for the primary 1988. See

The way i am going to get elected president is by managing the biggest web site of personal writing, daily pod casts and daily video blog casts, and a kick-ass forum with a window to post questions and comments at the end of every essay. The model i like, relative to a forum is how they do that at The daily Beast dot com.

All I have to do is file the papers and show the court where FCC buried their dirty deed, relative to PBS in vol. 114 of a hundred thousand page appropriations bill and i get a three judge panal and then within twenty days, the Supreme Court. I’m challenging all the network licenses so there is a real possibility i could be delivering a giant speech on network television. I promise every line a delicate sensible rhyme.

The template I found that reflected what I had haphazardly designed before someone turned me on to open source templates was by Denise Mitchinson
http://www.mitchinson.net/ who had a template on the MODX page. I wrote her to maybe give me a hand on a different banner than what she designed for the template but she was diognosed with carpal tunnel and just does this template building as a hobby. What a world! Her home page is lovely.
So, the first template someone was trying to get me to adapt was mod xed with an index php. The Denise template I went with had an index.html. From another post I noticed an hour ago I could download the ModX and then upload it to the michaelslevinson folder (which is actually michaelslevinson.com) and because the Mod X is index.php it won’t interfere with my index.html. Is that correct?
The Bob Ray offered some suggestions about installing a forum connected to the pages in the web site but I looked at what he suggested and it was too complicated for me. Hostmonster has Mysql data base and is connected to "Simple Scripts"??? So I might or I might not be able to figure that part out. It seems the order of events is to download the ModX then upload it to the michaelslevinson folder. Inside the michaelslevinson folder is a folder called lev (that is me - short for levinson - the name of the oldest mammal mentioned on the first page of the oldest book where God spoke to Moses and said "great whales shall thrive" whales - the Lev iathan) so the url reads after you hit enter michaelslevinson.com/lev . . good!
I might need a little volunteer hand, to improve my mother’s picture. I decided the new banner is going to be the flag with 48 stars our Manifest Destiny. Just because we added a couple more states didn’t mean we had to change the flag from peace, honor, innocense and freedom to a military conglomerate. So I don’t need a photoshop expert to do a flag with ’Bring back the Old Glory’ underneath and beneath that Michael Stephen Levinson for President of United States which will run across the whole top beneath the flag. That flag with the 48 stars is so beautiful.
Today is November 13. I was born November 13, 1941. Today, for the next 12 minutes is my birthday. I burped when the japs attacked the Pearl and began the second world war. I need socks.
