IE 6 Redirect

Hey folks, I need a way to detect if a user is still using IE6 or before. If they are I want to redirect them to another page.

I know how to use conditonal comments but I would like to some how create a plugin that will do this on the fly. My first attempt was to create a placeholder that a plugin will find and replace the text within the place holder with the conditional comment but I would like to actually redirect them. One of my sites is just too complex to hack for IE6 and I’m not wasting my time for those who are not willing to upgrade their browser. Any ideas?

I tried using "MSIE" to see if it would work with IE generally but that didn’t help.

Sorted... I googled user agents and found a solution that seems to work. I’m just hoping no other brower will be mistaken for IE6
