Installation Support needed

Hi

I am new to modx.I have downloaded the setup Zip file (download link: http://modxcms.com/download/). Uziped it in the location at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot and in my browser open the installation page(http://localhost/modx-1.0.0/install/index.php).
First it asks the language I have selected English.
second it asks the mode and i selected the new installation
third it asks the db details I have given
host : localhost
login : root
Pwd : Empty passwrod

but I have got the message like "Test your database connection".The link (Test connection and view collations) which is given in the page also not working.
I have already installed the MY SQL and created a data base also..(I have tried this with new data base user account with Password also..But still got the same message and unable to continue the installation).

Can any one help me to solve this Issue..?

Make sure, your browser or any AddOn doesn’t block je Javascript, the installer uses for the "test connection" button.

I have checked.. My browser is not blocked for Java scripts..

Could you share your php config output page with us to make sure it is setup correctly or pm me the link?

Create a file called info.php and add the following:

?>
