Upgrading to PHP5 - what do I need to do with MODx?

Hi - I’ve just upgraded my server to PHP5. When I go to a page with phpinfo() in it, it reports "PHP Version 5.2.5".
However, I’m using MODx v1.0.0 and when I go to Manager / Reports / System Info / view phpinfo() it tells me I’m still using "PHP Version 4.4.2".
I’ve tried clearing the MODx cache, had a good Google on the subject and looked at config.inc.php but I’m no wiser.

I’m pretty sure MODx is still using PHP4 as the PHP error you get trying to run the TCNewsletters module under PHP4 is still present.

I’ve a feeling I probably need to tell MODx to start using PHP5 - but how ?

I’ve stopped and restarted my browser and also stopped and re-started my web server.
Made no difference.

I re-uploaded the v1.0.0 install folder and ran the installation in upgrade mode.
Made no difference.

P. S. typo in the earlier post; I meant TXNewsletters

Did you set php5 to be the system default?

Thanks for replying - I logged a help ticket with my site host and their automated response gave detailed instructions on how to force the site to default to PHP5 - bloomin good help system I reckon as it did the trick!
All seems rather straightforward with hindsight - but the TXNewsletters MODx plugin is brilliant!

Could you describe what you did, in case others are having the same problem?
