Building MODx site for a client to maintain.

I am building a site using MODx for a client. The client will have a user to login to the manager. I’d like to limit them to few options, but they should have a nice customized window for editing several template variables. Is this the correct approach for client editable areas on the site? Also, how can I customize the Template Variable edit form? I am using Revolution so the docs are pretty limited and I’m brand new to MODx.

Dont know for Revo... for Evo there is ManagerManager that does all of what you want to do.
Somebody will answer if there is a MM alternative for Revo...
