Complete n00b here at everything related to html/css/modx/whatever. I’m using this template:

And I’ve hit a few bumps in the road. Mostly, I’m having visual problems. Notice the five selections to the right of the clock and text in the green box? On my site, it is just plain text. Nothing happens when you hover your pointer over the text and there are no orange buttons.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if anyone could just point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
