FCKEditor not working after migration

I just migrated my site from a local development area. Now, when I go to use the FCK, the directory shown (in the top left of the FCK window) it "/". It isn’t assets/images/ like it used to be.

When I go to Elements > Manage Files, it says "/ access denied".

I think I am confused with which Configuration does what between:

File base path:

File browser URL:

and File manager path:

Are they all involved?

Where should each point?

I’ve take a look at the PHP Variable SERVER[DOCUMENT ROOT]. I have that information.

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/assets/
http://domain.com/assets/

but I’ll check the permissions on the images folder

So right now my File Manage Path is http://mysite.com/assets.

My permissions of the assets/cache, assets/images, etc. are set to 777 according to http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Moving_Site_To_Another_Location

Still can’t access the Elements > Manage Files or the FCKEditor.

don’t know if it makes a difference but try with trailing \
did you ran the installer again? i always run it after moving the site from box to another.

*FIXING FILE MANAGER PATH
Try
Reports -> System Info: View phpInfo()
Look for include_path

in Tools -> Configuration -> File Manager -> File Manager Path:
you have this MINUS "manager/includes/"

Elements > Manage Files now works! Mrhaw, you are a saint!

However, FCKEditor still shows "/" and is empty. Does FCKEditor rely on File Manager?

Try
Resource path (096) / File base path (EVO): Try the same path as for File Manager Path but with html/assets/ instead of just html/
Resource URL (096) /File Browser URL (EVO): assets/

I don’t know why I even test what you suggest. I should just do it, say thanks and be done with it.

Of course, that worked perfectly!

Why does that work? I suppose the server allows access to differently to php/sql?
