Output the Edited on Field in a Template???

Hi there,

On every page there are fields under Changes for Created: and Edited:

Changes
Created: 01-09-2009 08:34:34 (admin)
Edited: 03-09-2009 18:11:15 (admin)

How can I get these fields to output in a template the same way we output things like [*longtitle*] or [*introtext*] etc.

I can’t seem to find any reference to working with these fields that doesn’t involve a snippet like Ditto or Jot.

[*createdon*] & [*editedon*] would work, but as the date is stored as a unix timestamp they would need a snippet or PHx to format the date to something more user friendly.

If you are a bit of code savvy, install PHx plugin and use its modifiers.

I am NOT very code savy at all so the Author Timestamp should do the trick! I figured something like this must have exsisted but in this case I had no idea what to search for... Author Timestamp!
