Dynamic Link back to parent

I’d like to create a "Back to ’parent’" link at the bottom of every child in my cataglog.

So, if you are looking at a specific seat in a catalog and you would like to go back to the parent (which is the Seating index), you could.

In my attached image, a link that goes from the Japanese Slat Table to the Table document.

Is this a Ditto call?

I thought I was on the right path with [~[+parent+]~], but it takes me all the way to the site Home page.

I think the Ultimateparent snippet can help in this situation:

This works, but unfortunately, send me back to the first level of my tree. I’m trying to get the Back link to only go to the parent of the current Resource. Any guesses there? Thanks.

For future reference, generally: * is for document content fields like pagetitle, id, longtitle, alias, etc. and for template variables (which are really extra content fields you create yourself). + is for placeholders set by snippets like Ditto or Wayfinder.
