I have downloaded modx via simple scripts onto my primary domain on my web hosting account, www.site1.com. The problem is, I want the modx site to display on another site www.site2.com that will be hosted on site1’s domain hosting.
i.e.
modx is installed here: www.site1.com/site2 but I want the site to appear at www.site2.com.
Can anyone tell me if I can do this? Or do I need www.site1.com to also be a modx site?????? Will this solution affect the SEO of the site or the ability for it to be crawled?
If you are using cpanel, u can mount addon domain on /site2 and it will work.
