How would one go about integrating 1shoppingcart with ModX. Even just a general idea would be appreciated. Thanks!

It’s said to be similar to the PayPal API (not that I’ve ever used either one) although it doesn’t handle recurring purchases (e.g. subscriptions).
Integrating it would be a matter of creating MODx snippets (or plugins) that interacted with the API. I think it would be a tough job for a new MODx user unless you are skilled at PHP. It also depends on the quality of their documentation (which I couldn’t find).
It might be possible to just install 1ShoppingCart and style the pages to look like your site without actually integrating it with MODx (unless you need to use the same user database for both).
