Not funny, but would you put up those testimonials in your business site?

Well if I was ripping a site and needed dummy content then yes I would, this guy looks like hes ripped allot of sites off and just maybe this is his test site to test the code befor he adds it to the client site ??

At the end of the day he has ripped the modx site, either if it’s a joke or not it is availabe on the internet for anyone to view so action needs to be taken

Web copyright is a murky area. In my mind, this is the equivalent of putting new words to an exiting song ( a la George Harrison -- who lost in court).

I don’t know of any cases where this has been tested yet, but I expect that MODx could win this eventually if anyone cared to pursue it. I doubt if it would be worth the expense, however.

I’m sure he knew he’d get people talking.

Fun aside, I don’t think he’ll get many orders with that comments on the site, the main attention he’ll get is due to his rip-offs. Don’t know if it is worth to sue him, at least send him a warning mail first.
