Vary display

Hello,
Is it possible using MOdX to vary the display shown to a user determined by, for instance, their IP address, or do I need to have multiple installations of ModX and send the user to their own display perhaps using subdomains? If so where do I find how to do this?

eg a user from Mexico gets different content and other detail, and to a user from London.

Have different documents for the different areas, and redirect the user to the appropriate section with a snippet in the beginning of your template. Or for a complete solution, see YAMS.

I do hope you are also giving the visitor the option to choose his locale; travellers or foreign residents (or users of Tor or other anonymizers) may not want to or be able to use the content specific to the area assigned the IP they are using at the moment.

Thanks for your response Susan. I probably used a bad example with Mexico and London. The issue is not one of language but of content - a better example may have been London and Sydney. eg I wish to have users in London providing different content for London viewers and users in Sydney providing content for Sydney viewers. The IP’s determining the data they view will not be their device IP but the IP of their internet gateway at the time.
