Hello. I’m new to Modx, and this is my first post, though I’ve found reading the forums helpful in the past.
I’ve got a bit of a news posting system set up, using Ditto. Using NewsManager and NewsEditor I’ve been able to get it working with a tinyMCE editor for rich text on the front end. What I’d ideally like to do is attach an image to each post. I can see how to do this with a template variable, but only if the news is being written in the Modx Manager. I would like to be able to add an input for this image on the news-writing page in the front-end (in this case using newsEditor).
I was wondering if there was a simple way of achieving this. I’m still learning the ropes and it’s probably something obvious that I’m missing.
