Remove url extensions from SEO urls

If i’ve missed this i aplologise, but i have looked and cant find the answer to this...

I want to loose the urls extension (.html) from SEO friendly urls so rather than mysite.com/news/mynews.html i have mysite.com/news/mynews/

Im sure i’ve missed something or some documentation so i feel a bit stupid askin this question, but any help appreciated.

See the "suffix" in Tools -> Configuration -> Friendly URLs.
