MODx Revolution 2.0.0-beta-1

Hello,

I’m a zero knowledge of modx revolution even the other branch version however I had a luck installing it.

After the installation of modx revolution, i am able to login and see the manager.
The link of the directory is http://localhost/modx/manager/
But if I try to visit http://localhost/modx/ it gives me
"Page not found
The page you requested was not found."

Can you tell me what’s wrong with it? As I dont really know what to do with it.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Unlike Evolution, Revo does not (yet) come with anything installed. You’ll need to create a document before it can be found.

create a document? is there a basic process or instruction to do that? as I dont want to place a "proper format" on the document.

From the Site menu, select New Document.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by this...

Then first create a new template, then create your document and have it use the template.
