Issues after installation (bluehost.com using Simple Scripts)

Greetings. I installed MODx (0.9.6.3) on a new bluehost.com account using simplescripts.com from cPanel (their recommended technique). The "Install Successful!" home page comes up on my site and most of the site appears to work (including the manager pages) but the following problems exist:

1. The right-hand content area on the home page shows "Chunk ’FormLogin’ not found".

2. The menu (Home, Blog, Features, etc.) does not appear across the top of the home page.

3. The "Request An Account" page displays "Chunk ’FormSignup’ not found".

4. The "Contact Us" page displays "Document or chunk not found for template id=’ContactForm’".

When I use the manager to view resources all of the claimed missing items appear to exist. Since this is a "clean" install and I have not yet made any changes I’m not sure what has gone wrong. Also, as someone new to MODx, I don’t yet know where to look.

Any suggestions?

Try clearing the site cache and see if that helps. I’ve not seen that issue reported with SimpleScripts, which is a very cool way to install MODx.

That did it. All the items I noted are now working! Thanks very much for the suggestion. By the way, since I agree that Simple Scripts is an impressive way of setting up MODx, should I send them feedback about this problem, or do anything else at this point?
