TinyMCE suitable for my problem ? Directions needed

Hi,
currently i am building a website for a client using modx. Now i have a problem that needs to be solved.

On some pages, my client wants to add simple content (links with a description in text form, maybe an image once in a while, a downloadable pdf, etc.. simple stuff).
The easiest way would be to use the TinyMCE with custom css for styling links, text, etc.. a standard case for TinyMCE.
However, most of those pages are designed as the following screenshot shows:



As you can see, there are simple content "blocks" categorized using html/css tabs. The number/category of the tabs wont change in the future. What i would like to do is to use TinyMCE to let the user add new content to each of the categories because this would save me time as i would not have to code my own snippet or module to add content.

An idea that came to my mind: I add a new document for each tab-category. When the user clicks on a tab, the associated document is included/displayed. This way the client could use TinyMCE to edit the documents.

Does this make sense to you ? Do you think thats a "good" solution ? If not, how would you implement this ? Is my idea even possible ?

Have you thought about letting them edit it from the front end using Quickedit?

That might make it easier for them and for you.

If you use TVs for your blocks of content you can assign the TV an input type of Rich Text, which will create a TinyMCE editor for each block.
