Very true... Hopefully people don’t use multiple PCs to browse a single forum LOL! Or create another plugin to say that this user is already signed in.
My main issue is, is it safe to do it the way I described? I am still trying to think of other ways to allow users to go from the forum to modx without logging in twice but to be relatively secure as well. My SMF forum has 1500 members and about 50 of them require access to the modx side of things and I don’t want to have multiple login forms etc. I’m trying to make my own workable way of allowing this but as secure as I can make it.
