I’ve just started getting into MODx for a redesign project. For a customer that wants CMS admin capability and some special flexibility that MODx can do natively. I am not normally a CMS fan, they are a necessity for non-programmers that want to publish blogs and so on. But I am a programmer and my tools of choice are things like Dreamweaver and Navicat.
But after a few days with MODx I am amazed. This is the system I could not find before. It appears to allow a programmer to do the type of designing you really want to do, it’s for professional developers.
Bravo to the MODx developers, I am genuinely pleased and impressed. Not words I normally attach to a CMS.
