I have Zone Alarm Security on my system, and an XAMPP Local Server setup. MODx is working except I cannot login as admin with the firewall on. When I try the name and password fields clear and nothing happens. As soon as I turn off the firewall I can login without a problem. The firewall is not giving me any messsages or log entries to say there is a problem. I have checked everything suggested in the sticky "Help I’m Blocked from the Manager" post.
Any help appreciated!

Configuring firewalls can be tricky.... maybe you can get more detailed help from a Zone Alarm forum?
