We have a Flash file that plays an intro, loads various movies, then repeats.
Everything works great in our test page (a static Coda page) and if we move the main.swf (along with associated xml and movie files) to the Modx images folder, the file works as expected in the Flash player.
However, when we preview a Modx page with the main.swf file embedded (using SWFObject) the intro plays but it won’t load any movies or repeat.
Do you have to enable something in Modx to get Flash working correctly?

MODx should have no effect on flash. I have a MODx website with embedded flash objects and they function normally.
I would guess this is a path problem, are you using relative path in the xml file?
Thanks for the reply etal, I suspected as much - had just got it working.
It was looking for the xml file in the site root.
