I need some info on how to control access from certain networks etc.
How can I control/deny access to a modx site from certain countries? I know some sites will not allow access dependent on which country the user is accessing a website from, i just wondered how that is done?

I never even knew anyone replied to my post till I checked up on it lol!
I will take a look at that thread and see how that works... I live in the UK and use the bbc iPlayer and I know that it doesn’t allow access to the programmes on there unless you live in the UK... we pay for public broadcast channels here and they are viewable on their site at anytime so if you live outside the UK, you won’t be paying towards the costs so you shouldn’t be allowed to view the programmes! Saying that, I’m sure there is a way round it, proxies etc but I liked the idea and was curious how it was done.
