Friendly Url

Hello,

I select in my modx the friendly url=yes and I configure (Prefix for friendly URLs: index.php?page=)
but when I test in my browser http://myhost/index.php?page=test doesn’t work
Please you can explain me how I put the friendly url to work

I would leave ’Prefix for friendly URLs’ and ’Suffix for friendly URLs’ empty. Also try refreshing your browser cache as this will typically course issues when first viewing your pages.

I delete the values of the PREFIX and SUFIX but how I call the document

The URL will switch to the node ID number.

If you check ’Use friendly aliases:’ to yes it will use the alias set within the document. for example (www.domain.com/test)

Or if you have ’Use friendly alias path’ checked as yes it will show (www.domain.com/subfolder/test).

I did everything that you said, but I am not able...

ummm I’m guessing there maybe a .htaccess issue on your site. Maybe other modx users could add some light

Did you rename ht.access to .htaccess and uncomment the friendly URLs part of it? That’s necessary for friendly URLs to work.
