Modx Logo within template

    Hi All,

    I have a question, I am using one of the built in templates, in fact the default one. How do I modify the
    Modx logo with one of my own? I am referring to the Modx logo at the top. I went through all of the image files within the modx install directory
    and couldn’t find it. I tried to do it within the manager also but couldn’t locate it anywhere. Bare with
    me as I am completely new with this.

      If you go to the archive MODXx folder you will see a folder called "assets". Within that folder will is a folder called "images". The default logo is there and its called logo.png. If you change the size of the logo or its file format you will need to also change the CSS file as well. All the graphics and files for your template are located in the "template" folder that is within your "assets" folder". Check the "images" folder therein: all the graphics are there.

      If you are going experiment with this I would make a copy of this entire template folder and give it a new name. You can then try experimenting with the graphics etc by choosing your pages to load with your renamed template. If you mess this up you can always go back to the "default" template.

        I check all those directories but could not find it, i’m suspecting maybe it’s some sort of text and not a graphic file. It’s the Modx logo at the top on www.gprofitt.com

          OK,

          That template is the "modxhost" template. (in the templates folder that is contained within the "assets" folder.

          Inside the "modxhost" folder is an "images" folder. Inside that is a graphic called "top-header_776x93_2.jpg" That is your banner image...
