Inherit Page Settings?

Hi,

Is there anyway to auto inherit page settings either when selecting a template or from the previous folder?

I need to add a few hundred pages into a site and checking all the required page settings will take a long time.

I have tried searching for something similar to "Inherit Parent Permissions" which works a treat on the permissions.

I’ve not tried it, but I wonder if this is something that could be achieved with ManagerManager? Can’t look into it now as I’m holding a baby and only have one hand free. Otherwise work directly on the db table.

Then duplicating docs and folders works.

Also I think that ManagerManager handles default values.

I would also consider the Fast Content CSV module. I never used it but I think that for adding large number of pages it may be helpful.
