I made a stupid mistake: while uploading an updated stylesheet, I replaced the modx-generated index.php with an old one.

so, how do I tell modx to ’regenerate’ the index.php?

I searched the forums and docs but couldn’t find anything... embarrassed

Download it and replace. MODx cannot regenerate it unfortunately.

You could just upload a backup file index.php or find the version you are running and download the installer zip and extract the index.php for upload.

          I’m sorry but I don’t understand...

          download and replace what?

I don’t mean modx’s own index.php files (as in /manager or /install) but the index.php that it generates from my template.

MODx doesn’t generate any index.php files. Those are part of the original download/install package.
