Moving MODx Site to a new server

I have built a small web site using MODx on one server and I need to move it to another. I have tried doing it, by the following:

1. Downloading the entire folder containing the MODx installation (at www.{server1}.co.uk/modxcms) and uploading to the new server (at www.{server2}.org.uk)
2. Exporting the MySQL database from the first server and importing into the 2nd via phpMyAdmin
3. Changing the MySQL details in config.inc.php (just prior to upload to new server)

The main site works fine, including the Member’s Area of the site. However, I am unable to log into the Manager, and the log-in page at www.{server2}.org.uk/manager shows the following errors when loaded:

Something I have thought of (but I don’t know if it’s correct!) is that on the original server the site is in a subfolder, whereas on the new server it is in the root.

I am using MODx 0.9.6.1

Did you upload the original install/ directory from the version you are using and run it in upgrade mode? This will rebuild the cache so the site should work once you do that...

Unfortunately, I did not have the original install directory, but I uploaded the latest version and performed an upgrade and all appears to be working fine! Thanks!

However, the Manager does state the version to be 0.9.6.1p2 still and not 0.9.6.3.

Did you just upload the latest install directory, or did you put all the latest manager and assets files in place as well?

I uploaded all of them I think overwriting the old files. Should I try agin, but removing the old files first?
