[SOLVED] how can i disable captcha, er, when not logged in...

A trifling problem...

I set captcha for my site, and gave it some of my own words, comma separated. Then I logged out later.

Now I try to log back in but, when I insert captcha code as requested, receive a message...

"The security code you entered didn’t validate! Please try to log in again! Location: http://ollythebuilder.com/manager/"

Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Might it be as simple as uploading an old db, loggin in, then reverting db?

I may cry...

If I am correct, you probably added some white spaces with the words you entered. eg. hello ,modx ,.... instead of hello,modx,....

Other than that, you can go into the database with phpmyadmin and look for the stuff below:

in Table modx_system_settings, look for use_captcha, make its value to 0.
