live server issue - latest version of modx

Hi,

I’ve just built a site using the latest version of Modx. The site is running fine on my localhost but when i came to upload the live servers i notice that there at extra areas in the config.inc.php and once uploaded together with the exported mysql database the site no longer works. Is there a new step i’ve missed out on the new version or did i install it incorrectly to start with?

Not had this problem on old sites i’ve done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I’ve just noticed the the live site is trying to access all the information from my localhost.

Check your paths in the configuration (file manager and interface and features) and clear your cache. You might need to upload the install folder and run the installer in upgrade mode to refresh the site cache.
