Has anyone heard of this? (www.squarespace.com). It looks very easy to set up a site. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this kind of service and how it compares to Modx.
After a quick read through it seems like there’s little chance of adding/customising bespoke functionality. I think you can only add html or Javascript, no mention of PHP or an API to hook into. All the stuff for developers only talks about CSS. I think the their target market is substantially different to Modx’s. Looks very slick, interesting that one the one hand they say keep the $5000 you were going to pay a web designer and then talk about it being developer friendly
