How can I get rid of quick edit completely?

I deleted the quick edit module, but now my pages get a modx parse error when I visit them. How can I completely get rid of quick edit so this parse error doesn’t occur?

Did you disable the plugin?
I only ever disable both the the module & plugin rather than delete.

First I disabled it, and it still showed up on my pages, then I deleted it.

"It" infers, and your first post implies, that you only disabled/deleted. There’s also a plugin that needs to be deleted. The plugin is actually what does the heavy lifing for QuickEdit.
