Where is the {{styles}} chunk stored?

I am in the early stages of exploring MODx. My understanding is that {{styles}} is a placeholder for the chunk of that name but I have not found where is it stored. I had expected it to have a document ID and be in the database but it does not seem to be there.

Look at the top left row of buttons, choose Resources, then Manage Resources. There you will find your templates, template variables, snippets, chunks, and plugins

Thanks for the pointer. I have found where the chunk is stored - it is in the database table modx_site_htmlsnippets. I was hoping that the database would also keep track of where each chunk is used, like it does with documents and the search function for documents, but apparently not so. Is there any other way to find out, apart from just remembering?

No, you can put chunk, TV and snippet tags anywhere; there’s no way to keep track of that.
