MODx Parse Error - Help can't access site

I have just posted this in another part of the forum but I think this is probably the right place so aplogises for double posting.

My IPS has just moved my website to a new datacentre.
Trouble is when I now try to access the website I get the following message:

Error while inserting event log into database.

Can anyone shed some light.

You will need to correct the information in manager/includes/config.inc.php as to your database connection information. You’ll also need to go to Tools->Configuration (once you can log in) and corrrect the paths in the Interface and Features tab, as well as the File Manager tab.

You may need to upload your original Install folder and re-run the installer in Upgrade mode to get everything working smoothly.
