Hello Everyone!
Im a new user of this great tool! So here is my story....
Im a employee of a WebDesign company, searching for some good CMS tool I found this one, my chief loved, Im a basic user when talking about MySQL. I did create the database called modx over the test server of the company, it worked perfectly I installed MODx and was great.
When I got home I wanted to know more, so I went on to my iMac, and installed MySQL, Activated Apache and PHP, and installed the GUI Tools for MySQL. Then I created the database called MODx Locally, went to the instalation process but SUPRISE, it just tell me that it couldnt connect to host.
"Connection to host: failed!"
Is there a way to debug and discover whats wrong? I already set all the permissions correctly.

PS: I did a little research here and a big one over google but couldnt find anything that helps.
