I want to create a Manager User which can only edit document contents via QuickEdit but not have access to the Manager. (It is to allow a non-techy site owner to edit his web copy but not fiddle ).
I have set up a Manager User. It is linked to a Role that allows only Change and Save Password and Edit and Save Documents.
I can control Manager User access to the Manager via Security > Manager User > Manager Interface Access. That works fine and and there are fewer tabs (Site [Home,Preview,Clear Cache,Search] and Reports [Schedule]). But I don’t want the User to see all this stuff so I disable it. But now I can’t see QuickEdit.
How is QuickEdit switched on and off? And how can I allow access to QuickEdit only and have even fewer options available in it to the Manager User?

You will have to allow "Run modules" in the roles.
